FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How much do you charge for tutoring sessions?

All our services are free!
Who can sign up as a student?

Anyone in grades K-8 who feel that they can benefit from our tutoring can sign up as a student. Although our tutors are from different schools and geographical locations, we meet with students virtually, so there are no physical boundaries.
Do tutors and students meet in person?

No. We conduct online tutoring through virtual platforms like Zoom or Skype.
What are the available times for tutoring?

Most of our tutors are high school or college students in the North American region. We are typically available after each school day on weekdays, and on weekends. Once we receive your application form, we will match you with a tutor and work out your tutoring schedule based on mutual availability.
What language will be used in the tutoring sessions?

The tutoring sessions will be conducted in English. Some of our tutors are bilingual, so sessions in other languages are also possible.
I am a middle school student. May I still apply for a tutoring position?

While the majority of our tutors are high school students or above, we also welcome exceptional middle school students as tutors!
Where can tutors find the community service log?

Although we as an organization unfortunately cannot certify the community service hours you may spend while tutoring a student, we'd be delighted to provide any proof of your service hours to organizations that can (such as your school). Tutors can find the community service log here, or the footer for easier access. Tutors should fill out the form at least once a month, so we can keep a running total of your hours and can confirm your accomplishments with the organization of your choice. Thank you and happy tutoring!
